Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The DV NEOCLASSIC 112 SMALL is part of the DV NEOCLASSIC speaker cabinet series, designed to meet a very specific demand from guitarists: maximizing mobility without losing the response and "feel" of a traditional cabinet. The philosophy of this range is based on the use of selected and tested neodymium magnets to achieve a reaction close to heavier speakers, emphasizing dynamics and musicality. Within the NEOCLASSIC family, this 1 x 12 model positions itself as a compact and versatile solution, easy to pair with a wide variety of heads, from crystalline cleans to modern saturations.
Who This Amp Is For
This speaker cabinet is particularly suited for musicians seeking a simple, effective, and portable setup: intermediate to advanced guitarists, studio technicians looking for a responsive 1 x 12, or stage musicians wanting to minimize bulk while maintaining real air diffusion. Thanks to its size and featherweight, it is also very suitable for frequent travel (lessons, rehearsals, club gigs). Style-wise, it performs well across varied genres: pop, funk, blues, rock, fusion, and more broadly any context where precise response, clear attack, and a cabinet that "follows" right-hand nuances are desired.

Questions frequently asked
Which amp head can be used with an 8 ohm 150 W speaker cabinet?
The 8 Ω impedance allows pairing with an amp head that has an 8 Ω compatible speaker output. The speaker cabinet's power handling is 150 W.
Is the Dv Mark Neoclassic 112 Small easy to transport?
Weighing 8.3 kg and measuring 485 x 465 x 270 mm, this 1 x 12 inch format limits bulkiness during rehearsals and club gigs.
What speaker is fitted in this guitar cabinet?
The cabinet houses a 12-inch DV Neo Pearl White speaker. Its neodymium magnet contributes to the overall lightweight of the unit.
What sound can be expected from the Neoclassic 112 Small?
The 1 x 12 configuration favors clear attack and present mids. On clean tones, the definition benefits arpeggios and funk rhythms; in crunch or overdrive, the speaker maintains the articulation of the amp head's character. The low end stays controlled to preserve clarity in a compact format.
Can two Neoclassic 112 Small cabinets be used together?
It is possible to consider stacking two identical cabinets to increase sound dispersion, depending on the outputs and impedance accepted by the amp head used. Each cabinet has an impedance of 8 Ω.
