The monophonic analog octave section can be controlled by an expression pedal to create harmonic swells, with continuously adjustable octave mixing.
What is the order of the internal effects?
The signal passes through the octave first, then the Amplitude distortion, followed by the Magnitude boost. This architecture places the clean MOSFET boost at the output to drive the amp preamp.
What clipping modes does the Life Pedal V3 offer?
Three modes are available: OpAmp without diode for more headroom, Asymm with a silicon diode and an LED, and Symm with two silicon diodes. The Asymm mode provides smoother compression, while Symm tightens the grit and sustain.
