Thermo Cure: a "vintage" approach to resonance

The term Thermo Cure highlights an Adirondack spruce top that has undergone thermal treatment designed to stabilize the wood and promote a more open response. Combined with hand-scalloped X bracing, this construction aims for an acoustic guitar with a strong character, easy projection, and dynamics that respond equally well to light playing or more energetic attack.

Who is it for, and in which styles?

With its mahogany neck featuring a Traditional Even "C" profile, 44.5 mm nut width, and long scale length, this dreadnought is especially suited for intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking an expressive and precise instrument. It excels in folk, bluegrass, country, acoustic pop, and pick-based accompaniment, while remaining very convincing in fingerstyle thanks to its definition and sustain.

Sound characteristics

The thermo-treated Adirondack spruce solid top delivers clarity, detailed high frequencies, and excellent dynamic response: the harder you play, the more the guitar "gives back." The solid mahogany back and sides enhance midrange clarity and provide firm bass, ideal for solid rhythm playing. The hand-scalloped X bracing promotes projection and natural resonance, while the combination of ebony (fingerboard/bridge) and bone (nuts) contributes to attack precision and note sustain.

Recommended compatible accessories

The guitar comes with a hardshell case. To stay as close as possible to the original setup, use Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings in gauge 12-53 (like the factory-installed set). A 4 mm Allen wrench is recommended for truss rod adjustments.
