A "Goldburst" Version Designed for the Demanding Musician

The ER-M-GB Goldburst stands out with a decidedly high-end approach: carefully selected solid woods, nitrocellulose finish, and Lollar electronics. Its Goldburst aesthetic highlights the maple top, while the construction and material choices aim for stability, tuning accuracy, and precise response, both acoustically and amplified.

Who Is the ER-M-GB Goldburst For?

This guitar is especially suited for intermediate to expert musicians seeking an expressive instrument capable of shifting from delicate, articulated playing to more assertive attacks. Thanks to the double-coil pickup, it is perfectly suited for amplified contexts (rehearsals, studio, stage) where clarity and low noise levels are expected. It naturally fits into musical styles where precision is key: modern folk, blues, country, roots rock, and any situation where a clear yet solid tone in the mix is desired.

Sound: Solid Woods + Lollar Humbucker, Balancing Brightness and Body

The solid maple top provides a lively attack, excellent note definition, and a natural brightness that helps the instrument stand out in an ensemble. The one-piece solid mahogany back and sides add body and warmth in the midrange, balancing the clarity of the maple and enhancing the perception of sonic density.

On the amplification side, the Custom Lollar double-coil pickup (humbucker format) favors a thick, musical, and even tone, with good note sustain and dynamic response suitable for pick playing. The humbucker design also contributes to a cleaner signal in electric environments, allowing for both round, singing tones and precise, defined attacks depending on amp settings and right-hand technique.

The ebony fingerboard, dense and responsive, enhances the sense of precision and articulation. The compensated and adjustable ebony bridge helps fine-tune intonation and action while preserving efficient energy transfer to the top.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To maintain the original feel and tonal balance, choose the D'Addario Nickel Bronze NBM1140 string set (the reference indicated on the instrument) when replacing strings. A hard case is already included, ideal for daily transport and protection.
