What EastWest ProDrummer 1 Is For
EastWest ProDrummer 1 is a virtual drum instrument designed to produce realistic drum tracks that are immediately usable in the studio. It helps quickly build a complete rhythmic foundation (pop, rock, electro, EDM, scoring), then refine the sound as in a mixing session: kit selection, mic management, dynamics, effects, and export to your sequencer. The workflow is designed to move from idea to finished track without wasting time programming every nuance.
Main Features
Kits and recordings in professional conditions
Volume 1 offers about 60 GB of kits and grooves produced by Mark "Spike" Stent and Doug Rogers, with Steven Sidelnyk on drums. The drum kits (DW, Slingerland, Gretsch, Ludwig, Yamaha, Orange County, Zildjian cymbals) were recorded in 5 rooms ranging from very dry to very wet, covering both modern punch and wide ambiances.
Groove engine, Songbuilder, and DAW integration
The MIDI library is at the core of the software: search for the right feel via the search engine, assemble a complete structure in the Songbuilder sequencer, then use tempo sync with your DAW. The drag and drop feature allows you to drop MIDI tracks directly into your project for editing, arranging, or doubling with other sounds.
16-channel mixer and sound design
Each kit element has its own channel, with processing and routing to sculpt attack, dynamics, and space. The Velocity Processor and its velocity graph help enhance punch or smooth playing, while kit options allow you to swap a drum, tune it, or stack elements (for example, two snares) to achieve a unique sonic signature.
