A controller designed to fully exploit compatible EBS heads
The RM4 is a dedicated footswitch for compatible heads (TD660, HD360, Reidmar 750, Fafner II). The idea is simple: have the essential functions at your feet during playing situations to switch from one sound to another in one gesture. Rather than multiplying pedals, you directly control your amp's sections (character, equalization, drive, mute) with clear and immediate ergonomics.
Who is it for, and in what usage contexts?
The RM4 is aimed at bassists (and more broadly musicians using these heads) who alternate several textures within the same set: clean verse / denser chorus, more pronounced slap passages, more aggressive pick parts, or the need to mute the sound between songs. In rehearsal as well as live, it prevents having to lean over the amp and secures your transitions.
It is particularly relevant if your amp is placed behind you, on a shared backline, or at the back of the stage: you keep control of the essentials from your playing position. In the studio, it can also be used to quickly chain takes with or without drive, or to mute instantly to change instruments silently.

Questions frequently asked
Is the RM-4 compatible with the EBS Reidmar 750 head?
The RM-4 is designed to control the Reidmar 750, as well as the EBS TD660, HD360 and Fafner II heads.
Which amp functions are footswitch-controlled?
Four independent switches provide access to the Character, Filter, Drive and Mute functions. Character activates the character filter, Filter toggles the EQ and Drive controls the gain.
What kind of connections does this EBS footswitch use?
Two 6.35 mm stereo jack outputs are provided to connect the footswitch to compatible heads. The RM-4 acts as a controller and adds no processing to the audio signal.
Does the footswitch allow muting to change basses?
The Mute control cuts the amp signal. This function allows instrument changes or breaks between songs without unwanted noise.
Is it possible to switch from a clean to a distorted sound during a gig?
The Drive switch activates or deactivates the distortion channel from the footswitch. The Character and Filter controls also allow modifying the voicing and EQ without adjusting the head directly. This setup is suitable for transitions between clean, scooped or more aggressive sounds.
