Summary of This Method

This method focuses on mastering complex time signatures and irregular rhythms frequently encountered in contemporary music, film scores, modern jazz, progressive rock, and certain orchestral writings. It addresses compound time signatures and their variants (notably half-note and thirty-second note notations), as well as the mixing of simple and compound meters, often a source of instability for performers. The goal is to quickly identify the reference pulse, choose an appropriate subdivision, and read fluently despite metric changes.

The proposed work emphasizes the "internal groupings" of measures (for example, feeling 15/8 as an organization of 3+3+2+3+2 rather than as a series of undifferentiated eighth notes). This logic helps to breathe musically, phrase, and maintain constant reference points for attack, accents, and articulation. Unusual meters such as 21/16 or 10/16 are thus approached as coherent constructions, facilitating memorization and ensemble setup.

Additionally, rhythmic mixtures are designed to reinforce tempo stability and inner listening: placing accents, managing syncopations, clarifying strong and weak beats, and securing sight-reading. Whether you are an instrumentalist, teacher, or student in musical training, this method provides an effective support to progress in rhythmic accuracy, precision of attacks, and understanding of compound meters, while maintaining a concrete and musical approach.
