A Ranger with a Sixties Vibe, Between Italian Heritage and Contemporary Reissue
The Ranger VI is one of those "seen a thousand times" silhouettes, having left a significant mark on the history of accessible folk guitars. Born in Eko's workshops in Italy during the 1960s, it has endured through the decades while preserving its vintage codes, including the famous "moustache" pickguard and a strong visual identity. The Ranger Vintage Reissue series carries this DNA forward, updating it with a guitar designed to last, easy to handle, and coherent both in spirit and finish.Who Is This Electro-Acoustic Folk Guitar For?
With its excellent value for money, the Ranger Vintage Reissue VI is well suited for beginners looking for a reliable dreadnought to start with, as well as intermediate guitarists seeking a sturdy backup guitar with a retro look, capable of performing well in rehearsals or on stage. Its Dreadnought format is particularly comfortable for folk, pop, acoustic rock, and vocal accompaniment, whether strumming energetically or playing simple arpeggios.Sound Characteristics
The Dreadnought format is known for its body: generous bass, present mids, and pleasant highs, making it an excellent accompaniment guitar. The spruce top provides attack and definition (useful for maintaining clarity when playing loudly), while the sapelli back and sides enhance warmth, stability, and sustain. The set neck contributes to a clear and direct response, and comfort features such as the zero fret and aluminum nuts help ensure consistent playability and intonation. For amplification, the Fishman Sonitone GT1 keeps it simple: a quickly usable sound with volume and tone controls to adapt to an amplifier or PA system.Recommended Compatible Accessories
To maintain the original feel and balance, you can opt for a set of steel strings with a gauge of 11-52 (bronze). For transport, a Dreadnought-sized gig bag or case is the most suitable choice for this "Western" sized body.Technical specifications

I just received the beautiful one today, unpacked and the smack!!! For €139 on sale it's really a great deal. The build quality is very good and the guitar is heavy it exudes quality.
Out of the box, the guitar is well adjusted, I just lowered the strings a bit at the bridge thanks to the 2 adjustment screws (not necessarily necessary but I like guitars with the strings close to the neck) and it doesn't frizz anyway because the neck is curved properly.
The reason for this purchase is to test a Frète 0 and I am not disappointed it is super pleasant. Adjusting the easel with the screws is really great also it avoids a lot of manipulation.
In terms of sound, it's very crystalline but still with good bass and the guitar vibrates really well and I think it will improve.
In terms of the look it is really superb, on the other hand the color of the table is a bit darker than the photos.
I have not tested the Fishman yet but I am sure it will be good
Assessment: for 139€ an electroacoustic like this is unbeatable I think, if you hesitate go for it!!! And +++ for the quality of manufacture, I bought an Epiphone Masterbuilt Signature Slash recently (which is 6 times the price of this eko) and 3 consecutive exchanges due to manufacturing defects.
The icing on the cake is that a jack is supplied with and the adjustment keys that go well for the truss road and the bridge.
And finally congratulations Woodbrass for the speed, ordered on a Thursday evening received on Monday morning, effective
Edit: I was able to test the Fishman, and to my surprise the 9V battery was included. It does the job well, moreover with a high output level, only 2 control buttons, tone and volume that work well and allow you to nuance in subtlety, I will test in concert soon, I think it will do itAutomatically translated

Incredible quality/price ratio.. Excellent finish, despite its round and thick neck., offset all the same by very pleasant keys and an action (string height) set very low. Nice sound, but not very loud.
Very average electronics, because the bass is much too loud and present. To conclude, if you take into account its selling price, it makes a great guitar, but to be avoided for beginners with small fingers, because of the fairly thick handle.Automatically translated
