Its frequency response extends low (down to 35 Hz at -10 dB) to provide a solid foundation for kicks, basses, and synths, while remaining controlled in the crossover region with the main speakers.

Adjustable Crossover: Simple Integration with Your Speakers

Thanks to the selectable crossover (80 Hz, 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 150 Hz), you can quickly adapt the cutoff point to the type of speakers used and the desired sound. A lower setting favors a smooth transition with speakers capable of handling low-mid frequencies, while a higher setting helps more compact speakers gain comfort and headroom.

LCD Screen: Direct and Clear Control

The LCD screen facilitates quick access to settings without wasting time, a real advantage during setup/breakdown or when changing venues. You maintain clear and immediate control over the subwoofer's integration into your system.

Inputs/Outputs: Easy Integration in Sound Systems

With 2 combo XLR / 6.35mm TRS jack inputs and 2 XLR outputs, the EKX-18SP easily fits between the mixer (or controller) and your powered speakers. This configuration is convenient for cleanly daisy-chaining the signal and building a stereo setup while maintaining standard sound reinforcement cabling.

Reinforced Enclosure and EVCoat Finish

The 15 mm plywood cabinet with internal bracing is designed to withstand the rigors of the road. The EVCoat finish and 18 AWG steel grille with reinforcing bars and powder coating effectively protect the driver. The M20 threaded pole mount allows installation of a pole to position a speaker above the subwoofer, a very common configuration in live sound setups.
