This portable active speaker is intended for musicians, DJs, hosts, bars, and service providers who need reliable sound reinforcement without depending on mains power continuously. It is suitable for small stages as well as compact front-of-house sound, stage monitoring thanks to its positioning angles, or supplementary sound reinforcement for speeches and vocals. Its versatile approach makes it particularly relevant for quick setups: set up, connect, play.

Connectivity, sound dispersion, and design: key features

Wide and intelligible sound dispersion

The EV Everse 12 relies on a directivity of H100deg x V60deg, useful for covering a generous listening area while maintaining clarity. The crossover point at 2 kHz contributes to a coherent balance between the 12-inch woofer's bass and the tweeter's precision, ensuring clear vocals and well-defined instruments even at high volume levels.

Stereo streaming and True Wireless Stereo (TWS)

Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity allows convenient streaming with stereo linkage. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology enables linking 2 speakers via Bluetooth to create left/right stereo sound without an audio cable between them. For scalable performances, wireless control of up to 6 speakers facilitates system management and coherence, especially during event installations.

Mic/line inputs, auxiliary input, and foot control

Two combo XLR / 6.35mm Jack (TRS) inputs make the speaker suitable for microphones as well as line sources. Phantom power +48 V allows the use of microphones requiring dedicated power. A 3.5 mm mini-Jack TRS auxiliary input is also provided for simple sources (player, computer, etc.). Finally, the 6.35 mm Jack footswitch input offers convenient foot control depending on your setup.

Battery life and protection for real-world conditions

The 86.4 Wh lithium battery offers up to 12 hours of autonomy, ideal for extended sets, rehearsals, events, and ceremonies. Regarding durability, the design includes hydrophobic mesh under the front grille and IP43 protection when the Weather Cover is installed (included), to better withstand water splashes during outdoor use.

Flexible installation: on stand, as a monitor, or for sound reinforcement

Its black polypropylene enclosure is designed for regular handling, and the 35 mm socket allows mounting on a speaker stand. The beveled edges (55deg on the side and 25deg on the rear) facilitate use as a stage monitor or directional sound reinforcement, depending on space and musician arrangement.
