A mobile solution designed for "field" use in the PORT range
The PORT12VHF-MKII fits the spirit of Ibiza Sound portable sound systems: a self-powered amplified speaker designed to quickly amplify a space without heavy installation. Its 30 cm (12-inch) speaker and mobility-oriented chassis make it a particularly relevant option for events requiring movement, multiple sessions, or setup in an unequipped location.
Who is this sound system for and what are its uses?
This system is ideal if you are looking for a battery-powered portable PA to host a class, an association, a sports activity, or a demonstration, as well as for corporate speeches, presentations, or events in bars and terraces. Thanks to its "all-in-one" design, it suits both indoor environments (multipurpose room, dance studio, meeting room) and outdoor uses (events, training, animations), with quick setup and great freedom of movement via wireless microphones.
Key features: audio playback, wireless microphones, and practical controls
USB playback and Bluetooth streaming: multi-source for everyday use
The PORT12VHF-MKII allows you to play your music or soundtracks easily, whether via USB stick (MP3, WMA, WAV formats) or Bluetooth from a phone. This multi-source approach avoids multiple devices and adapts to real situations: playlist for a fitness class, background music for a terrace, jingles for an event, or backing tracks for rehearsals.
Two VHF microphones included: handheld + headset
The inclusion of 2 VHF microphones (one handheld and one headset) makes the system particularly effective for voice and event hosting. The handheld mic (207.5MHz) is suitable for "classic" interventions and mic passing, while the headset (203.5MHz) frees the hands completely, practical for coaches, dance teachers, or demonstrators. The stated range reaches 25 to 30 m outdoors in open view, and 10 to 15 m indoors depending on the layout.
Sound adjustments and level management: an easy-to-master PA
To adapt to voice and music, the system includes bass and treble equalizers, as well as separate music volume and microphone volume controls. The presence of echo on the microphones can provide comfort for hosting and certain vocal performances. The VOX function (voice-activated) helps prioritize speech depending on the intended use.
Battery life and transport: designed to move
With its built-in rechargeable battery (rated capacity 4500mA, 12V-4.5Ah battery) and autonomy of up to 7 hours depending on power level (more than 5 hours in typical use), the PORT12VHF-MKII meets the needs of events without nearby mains power. The trolley format, handle, and wheels facilitate transport, and the speaker is stated to be tropicalized to better withstand common usage conditions.
