An iconic aesthetic, reimagined by EMG
The EMG J-Master set draws inspiration from the look, feel, and sound of legendary pickups beloved by guitarists. In Ivory finish, it retains this iconic visual identity while offering a design engineered for reliability and consistency in real-world situations: rehearsals, studio, and stage.
For guitarists seeking clarity, character, and silence
This set is aimed at musicians who love the single-coil tone but want a more controlled response and a solid signal. Ideal for articulate clean sounds, expressive crunches, and effects, it highlights chord definition, pick and finger detail, and a pleasing dynamic feel under the hand.
Integrated preamp and solderless wiring: the best of both worlds
The J-Master combines Alnico 5 magnets and stacked wide coils to deliver a rich, balanced sound inspired by single coils. Their integrated preamp provides a vintage feel while offering the advantages of active electronics: a stable signal, immediate presence, and excellent consistency from instrument to instrument.
The set includes an EMG solderless wiring kit with a master volume and a master tone. This allows you to install the pickups on your existing instrument without any modifications, for a clean, quick, and reversible upgrade.
