The Prophecy Extura is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a high-performance electric guitar, comfortable in hard rock, metal, prog, and all styles requiring precise rhythms and fluid leads. Thanks to the pickups' multiple voices, it can also cover more nuanced ranges, useful in the studio or for switching from a tight clean tone to modern saturation without changing instruments.

The Sound

The pair of Fishman Fluence pickups offers a very wide palette, with textures ranging from a vintage, warm character humbucker to a sharper modern sound, not forgetting an optimized single-coil tone that is more snappy and defined. The push/pull controls on volume and tone allow quick switching between voices, while the 3-position selector keeps stage use simple. The combination of a mahogany body and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge/tailpiece setup promotes solid sustain, clear attack, and good note hold, particularly appreciated in saturated chords as well as solos.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay as close as possible to the original feel, choose a set of electric strings in gauge 10-46 (matching the supplied gauges). A 6.35 mm instrument jack cable is, of course, essential for use with an amp or pedalboard. Since the case is sold separately, be sure to select a model specifically adapted to the Extura format.
