A Les Paul Inspired by Gibson Designed for Today's Guitarist
Part of the Inspired by Gibson collection, the Les Paul Modern Figured revisits the Les Paul formula with a more contemporary approach: high-end figured aesthetics, modernized ergonomics, and more comprehensive electronics. It retains the "single cut" DNA and generous sustain typical of the Les Paul family, while adding wiring and comfort options that make it especially relevant in both studio and stage settings.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This electric guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a Les Paul capable of covering a wide range without changing instruments. It excels in rock, hard rock, blues, and pop, and is very comfortable when switching from heavy saturated tones to clearer, sharper rhythms thanks to coil-splitting and phase switching.
The Sound
The mahogany body and neck provide present lows, rich mids, and naturally long sustain, while the maple top adds attack and definition, ideal for maintaining clarity under distortion. The ProBucker 2 (neck) and ProBucker 3 (bridge) humbuckers offer a warm and powerful foundation, with output levels suited to modern rock tones. The coil-splitting functions (Push/Pull on the volume controls) allow for airier and more biting textures, and the phase switching (Push/Pull on one tone control) opens up thinner, scooped tones, very useful for rhythms that need to sit well in a mix. The Treble Bleed circuit helps maintain clarity when rolling down the volume, cleaning the sound without losing highs.
