The Goldtop Legend "Inspired by Gibson" for Left-Handed Players
Symbolizing the first solidbodies, this Les Paul Standard '50s Goldtop left-handed model embraces the 1950s codes: single cutaway, Kalamazoo-style headstock, and cream binding. Built to modern standards, it combines contemporary reliability with vintage aesthetics to recapture the playing feel, response, and projection that made the early Les Pauls legendary.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Designed for left-handed guitarists from beginners to advanced players, this single cutaway is immediately inspiring. Rock, blues, soul, pop, and classic rock are its natural playground. The ProBucker 2 at the bridge delivers the attack needed for powerful riffs, while the '50s rounded neck favors full chord rhythms and singing sustain solos.
The Sound
The mahogany/maple combination delivers meaty mids, dense lows, and precise highs. Inspired by PAFs, the ProBuckers respond finely to playing dynamics and settings: the ProBucker 1 (neck) offers warmth and smoothness, the ProBucker 2 (bridge) adds bite and definition. The "50s style" wiring with CTS potentiometers maintains clarity when rolling down the volume, ideal for sculpting nuances via the 3-position selector switch. The long tenon and LockTone hardware optimize vibration transfer for extended sustain.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
Choose a set of nickel electric strings 10-46, perfectly suited to the 24.75" / 628.65 mm scale length. For gigging, opt for a hard case in the Les Paul single cutaway left-handed format, complementing the included gig bag. A quality adjustable strap will ensure optimal comfort when playing standing.
