A Les Paul "Tribute" Designed as a Serious Entry Point at Epiphone
Part of Epiphone's famous Tribute series, the Les Paul Tribute Plus follows the historic codes of the Les Paul (curves, carved top, classic aesthetic) while steering them towards a more modern and accessible experience. It positions itself as a natural step up within the Epiphone universe, with particular attention paid to playing comfort and a refined presentation, without losing sight of the goal: to offer a true working guitar, reliable, for sustainable progress.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
The Les Paul Tribute Plus is primarily aimed at demanding beginners and intermediate guitarists who want a serious first electric guitar or to replace an entry-level instrument. Thanks to its ceramic humbuckers and Les Paul format, it excels in rock, hard rock, punk, muscular blues, and metal (in standard or lower tunings depending on your playing). Its fast neck and upper fret access also make it comfortable for both solos and thick rhythm playing.
The Sound
The mahogany + Les Paul format duo provides a warm, dense sound base with generous mids and naturally present sustain. The Epiphone 650R (neck) and 700T (bridge) humbuckers, equipped with ceramic magnets, add a more aggressive and powerful response: firm lows, sharp attack, and an ideal output level to drive an amp or distortion. The two volumes / two tones configuration allows quick adjustment of the balance between warmth at the neck pickup and bite at the bridge pickup, while maintaining the typical versatility of a Les Paul.
