An E-II Super-Strat Designed for Performance

With its Super-Strat format and efficiency-oriented setup, the E-II M-II Hipshot Burl Maple fits the spirit of guitars built for stage and studio: a clean design, straightforward passive electronics (1 volume, 1 tone), and a selection of components known for reliability. This configuration emphasizes attack, tuning stability, and precision, while maintaining a high-end aesthetic thanks to its burl maple top and Mercury Blue Burst finish.

Who Is It For, and Which Styles?

This 6-string electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking fast playability and clear response under heavy distortion. It excels in modern metal, djent, metalcore, heavy rock, and all syncopated rhythms where bass definition and attack precision are essential. Its long scale length also favors lower tunings while retaining tension and stability.

The Sound

The alder body provides an effective balance: present mids, sharp attack, and controlled lows, ideal for cutting through a dense mix. The burl maple top adds a touch of bite and clarity in the upper spectrum, useful for maintaining definition with high gain. The ebony fingerboard enhances precision and snap, while offering a very fast feel.
The two Bare Knuckle Aftermath Battleworn pickups (neck and bridge) are crafted for modern tones: tight low end, very clear attacks, and excellent note separation in complex chords. The passive electronics preserve natural dynamics: by adjusting pick attack and volume, you can shift from tight crunch to massive saturation. The Hipshot bridge and locking Gotoh tuners secure tuning and improve sustain consistency, especially appreciated in palm-muting and rhythmic playing.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To fully exploit this 6-string, a set of electric guitar strings (ball-end) is perfectly suited; a 10-46 gauge will work as standard, while heavier gauges can help with lower tunings. A classic strap (standard ends) and stiffer picks complement a metal-oriented setup well. A case is included for transport and protection.
