The essentials to know about the E-II Horizon NT-II Blue Purple Gradation guitar

  • Modern and precise sound thanks to the active EMG 57 (bridge) and EMG 66 (neck) pickup duo, ideal for articulate distortion.

  • High-end playing comfort: Maple neck with a Thin U profile, Ebony fingerboard, and 24 Extra Jumbo frets for solos and fast playing.

  • Big sustain: construction with a through-body string and Gotoh TOM bridge, perfect for heavy riffs and singing leads.

  • Premium look: flamed maple top with a glossy finish featuring a blue-purple gradient.

A Horizon built for the stage: the "superstrat" spirit in E-II version

The Horizon is a classic among performance-oriented guitars: ergonomics designed for access to high notes, craftsmanship focused on stability, and a bold aesthetic. In this NT-II version, the instrument emphasizes reliability and efficiency, with Gotoh hardware and active EMG electronics, meeting the demands of guitarists who want a dense and consistent sound at high volume.

For which guitarists and styles?

The E-II Horizon NT-II is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a 6-string electric guitar oriented towards modern rock, metal, hard rock, and all styles requiring precision in both rhythm and solo playing. The 25.5-inch scale length promotes balanced string tension and a clear attack, suitable for standard tunings as well as heavier riffs.

The tone

The combination of a mahogany body and a flamed maple top provides a base that is both deep and percussive: mahogany adds body and sustain, while maple contributes definition and bite in the attack. The EMG 57/66 pickups enhance this modern character: at the bridge, the 57 favors tight palm mutes and prominent harmonics, with excellent clarity under heavy distortion; at the neck, the 66 delivers rounder, smoother leads while remaining precise. The Volume and Tone controls allow quick adjustment of brightness and output level without complicating the ergonomics.
