Historical Context and Positioning Within the Range
For over 60 years, EVANS has been one of the most innovative manufacturers in the synthetic drumhead world, with iconic ranges such as EMAD, Hydraulic, and UV1. The UV2 series continues this tradition by targeting drummers who demand a sanded head capable of maintaining its character and feel over time, even under intensive conditions, while benefiting from the precise tuning adjustment provided by Level 360.
Who This Bass Drumhead Is For
This bass drum batter head is aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers who play loudly and want a reliable solution for both rehearsals and live performances. Its sonic profile (clear attack, short sustain) is particularly suited for rock, metal, punk contexts and setups where a clear, defined low end that is easy to control in the mix is desired, without losing the feel of a sanded head.
