What H3000 Band Delays Mk II Is For
H3000 Band Delays Mk II is a multi-band delay plug-in designed to create dynamic rhythmic effects and spacious textures within a DAW. It excels on vocals, guitars, synths, drums, and effects buses to generate filtered echoes, comb filter sweeps, auto-pan delays, soundscapes, and precise stereo widening. Thanks to its band-based approach, you can make certain areas of the spectrum "sing" while keeping other frequencies clean, helping to integrate effects into a dense mix without losing clarity.
Main Features
8 bands, 8 personalities, one creative delay
The core of the H3000 Band Delays Mk II is based on eight bands of filtered delays, each with its own parameters for level, panning, filter type, frequency, and Q. This architecture allows for creating "multi-timbral" delays: one band can provide a bright and wide echo, while another adds a narrower mid-range movement, and a third subtly reinforces the low end without cluttering it.
Living rhythms, stereo space, and automatic movement
Designed to go beyond simple echo, the plug-in facilitates the creation of rhythmic patterns and movement effects: auto-panning delays, swept combs, evolving ambiances, and cinematic textures. Stereo widening and per-band panning placements allow building a wide image without sacrificing the center, ideal for thickening a lead or opening an ambience bus.
Interface and control: fast in session, precise in sound design
The interface is resizable and retains the spirit of the H3000 hardware while adding a modern readout: visual display of all delays and band shapes to immediately understand what's happening in the spectrum. Assignable Macro Soft Keys speed up key adjustments (build-ups, transitions, width variations, filter intensity), and the Expert and Function tabs provide direct access to controls and assignments when you want to push processing further.
Faithful and production-ready presets
With a new preset library and over 100 presets in total, you have immediately usable starting points: soundscapes, animated delays, transition effects, stereo thickening, and more accurate recreations of iconic settings from the original. Perfect for working quickly, then customizing band by band.
Advanced modulation, sidechain, and MIDI control
The H3000 Band Delays Mk II includes a Function Generator featuring 19 waveforms to modulate and animate parameters, and offers Sidechain inputs as well as a Noise input to enrich or trigger more dynamic behaviors. Finally, MIDI control allows integrating the plug-in into a live setup or automating expressive variations in production.
