What Soliste Is For
Soliste is a performance-oriented virtual instrument designed to compose, produce, and record solo string parts with a feel close to real gesture. It is aimed at film music, pop and electronic arrangements, neoclassical pieces, as well as any production where you want a violin, viola, cello, or double bass line that breathes, with lively attacks, natural transitions, and immediate control of intentions (pressure, bow speed, vibrato, tremolo, etc.).

Only the DBS.1130 double bass model is included. The references VLN.356, VLA.419, and CLO.756, corresponding respectively to the violin, viola, and cello, are listed as not included.
Does Soliste BDS.1130 work with an MPE controller?
MPE support allows expressive polyphonic control. Standard MIDI is also supported via a MIDI bridge and parameter mapping.
Which articulations are available for the double bass?
The modeling offers sul ponticello, sul tasto, pizzicato, Bartok, and col legno. Short bow strokes include spiccato, spiccatissimo, staccato, staccatissimo, and martelé.
What PC or Mac configuration is required to use it?
On macOS, compatibility ranges from Monterey 12 to Sequoia 15, on both Apple Silicon and Intel machines. On Windows, Windows 11 or later is required. The minimum recommended is an Intel Core i5-7400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 4 GB RAM; a Core i7 or Ryzen 7 is recommended.
Is this a double bass sample library?
This instrument uses a physical modeling synthesizer, without samples. Bow response, vibrato, and model parameters can be adjusted in real time.
