The two Coastline '65 Single-Coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver the typical tone: a sharp attack, great fullness, and nuanced brightness that stays musical, ideal for clean sounds and moderate overdrive. The simple and effective electronics (master volume, master tone, 3-position selector switch) allow quick transitions from the bridge pickup's bite to the neck pickup's warmth, with a very versatile middle position. The vintage-style "Floating" vibrato offers smooth and expressive modulation, while the Mustang saddles provide a more stable feel and more consistent intonation.
