A vintage Stratocaster spirit designed for today's demands
The American Professional Classic Stratocaster HSS follows Fender tradition by combining classic aesthetics with a decidedly modern approach to performance. The idea is simple: capture the tone and response of a '50s-inspired Strat while benefiting from playability and stability suited for both studio and stage, with reliable and coherent technical choices.
For which guitarists and styles?
This Stratocaster is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want an instrument capable of covering many styles without switching guitars. It excels in blues, funk, pop, rock, and indie: the single-coils provide the typical attack and clarity, while the bridge humbucker delivers higher output and thickness for powerful rhythms and solos.
The sound
The alder body contributes to the signature Fender balance: present mids, clean lows, and precise highs, helping the guitar cut through a mix. The HSS setup clearly expands the palette: the Coastline '57 Single-Coil pickups (neck and middle) aim for vintage brightness, clear chord definition, and a percussive quality ideal for clean tones. The Coastline Humbucker at the bridge adds more punch and depth, useful when pushing the amp or seeking more sustain. The 5-position selector allows instant switching from crystalline sounds to thicker textures, and the Greasebucket tone circuit on the bridge pickup helps smooth the highs without muddling the tone.
Recommended compatible accessories
This guitar comes with Fender USA 250L strings in .009-.042: if you want to keep the same feel and tension balance, sticking to this gauge (or equivalent .009-.042) is the safest choice. The included Deluxe gig bag already covers daily transport and protection.

Questions frequently asked
What kind of sound does the HSS configuration of this Stratocaster offer?

The maple neck features a Modern 'C' profile, a 9.5-inch (241 mm) radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The nut width is 42.8 mm.
