A "Golden Age" Telecaster Revisited for Today's Musicians
This American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster embodies Fender's idea of a professional instrument that retains vintage charm (aesthetics, hardware, Tele spirit) while integrating clearly performance-oriented choices. The "HotShot" concept combines Telecaster DNA with a more versatile approach thanks to a pickup configuration and electronics capable of going beyond traditional sounds without losing the Fender signature.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
Designed for intermediate to professional guitarists, this Tele is ideal if you're looking for a unique guitar to cover multiple genres: rock, blues, country, pop, funk, or indie. Its 5-position selector facilitates quick tonal changes live, while its Modern "C" neck promotes fast playability, suitable for chords, melodic lines, and precise rhythmic playing.
The Sound
The alder body provides a very Fender-balanced tone: present mids, clean lows, and clear highs, perfect for a sound that cuts through the mix without harshness. The Coastline 63 Single-Coil Telecaster pickups (neck and bridge) deliver the expected twang, attack, and definition, with great pick dynamics. The central Coastline 57 Single-Coil Stratocaster RWRP pickup adds a more "bell-like" brightness and nuanced intermediate positions, useful for arpeggios, snappy rhythms, and more scooped sounds. The vintage Tele bridge with 3 brass slotted saddles contributes to the character: sharp attack, natural sustain, and a very organic feel.
