The shape and thickness of Fender necks have evolved greatly over the decades. With the American Vintage II series, Fender revives historically accurate specifications inspired by iconic models. Made in Corona, California, this one-piece maple neck captures the spirit of a 1951 Telecaster: a generous "U" profile, a tight 7.25" radius, and a lacquered finish that immediately recalls vintage instruments.

This replacement neck is an excellent choice if you want to give your Tele a vintage character : precise rhythm, twang, clear attack, and an old-school comfort feel. It is designed for a Fender or Squier by Fender guitar and is especially suited for players who prefer thicker necks with a full hand feel, like the Telecasters from the 1950s.
Designed for serious installation and fine-tuning
The pre-slotted bone nut is provided with "pilot" slots: practical to ensure consistent string spacing during final filing. As with any authentic replacement neck not factory-installed on a body, qualified intervention is recommended: cutting the nut slots to the correct depth, fitting to the neck pocket, fret inspection, and full setup. The result: a Tele that plays in tune, performs perfectly, and displays a true '50s identity.
