From the Original "Esquire" to Artisan Refinement
Heir to Fender's first solid-body guitars, this Custom Shop Double Esquire elevates the concept to a work of art. Wood selection, meticulous craftsmanship, and NOS nitro finish combine to create a "boutique" piece that blends vintage codes with modern demands, without compromising playability or stage reliability.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Designed for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a high-end, expressive, and responsive Tele. From blues to country, rock to funk, including americana and pop, it offers precise attack, great dynamics, and articulation that stand out both in the studio and on stage.
Sound Characteristics
The single-coil Nocaster '51 pickups (Custom Shop, hand-wound) deliver a sharp, singing twang supported by firm low-mids. The reverse angle bridge refines the balance: rounder lows, chiseled highs, and increased presence for arpeggios, chicken-picking, or gritty crunch. The "Fat '50s Tele" wiring provides smooth volume/tone interaction, allowing a transition from bright clean to full-bodied drive without losing definition. The hollow torrefied pine body adds openness, projection, and sustain for a lively response under the fingers.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
Delivered with deluxe hard case, strap, and certificate of authenticity. To preserve original feel and tone, opt for a 10-46 nickel steel string set, a quality 6.35 mm instrument cable, a well-balanced leather strap, and a stable universal guitar stand.
