Designed for the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster, this limited edition captures the codes of instruments produced in 1964, a pivotal period for the "L" series. A relic nitro finish, subtly marked binding, and period details make it a playable collector's piece, signed by Fender Custom Shop.

Ideal for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking the snappy response and dynamics of a '60s Strat. Perfect for blues, rock, surf, funk, and pop, it shines in both crisp rhythm and singing leads. The Tone-Saver circuit preserves brightness when rolling down the volume, very useful in studio and on stage.

The Sound

Alder provides a precise balance between firm lows and articulate mids, while the rosewood fingerboard softens the highs. The trio of hand-wound '64 pickups delivers crystalline highs and the famous "quack" in positions 2 and 4 (hum-canceling thanks to the RWRP middle pickup). The 5-position selector and dedicated bridge tone control broaden textures from tight twang to classic scooped sounds. The vintage synchronized tremolo adds smooth vibrato and natural sustain without sacrificing attack.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve the original tonal intent, choose nickel-plated steel strings gauge .010-.046 (compatible with factory setup) and a standard strap with strap locks (vintage buttons accept all classic straps). A quality 6.35 mm jack cable, a stable electric guitar stand, and a microfiber cloth for the nitro finish will perfectly complete the setup.
