An Exceptional Piece from the Artisan Series
Produced by the Fender Custom Shop, the Artisan series combines hand-selected figured woods with top-tier craftsmanship. This Telecaster features a 4A maple burl top and a one-piece vintage Michigan mahogany body, blending visual elegance, generous sustain, and dynamic response. It is a high-end, rare Tele designed for both the collector guitarist and for stage and studio use.Who Is It For, and What Styles?
Designed for intermediate to expert musicians, it excels in blues and rock, as well as soul, funk, and indie, while also flirting with modern jazz. The long scale length provides attack and definition, while the versatility of the P90s covers everything from clear articulation to dense, singing crunches, without losing the typical Telecaster responsiveness. The Sound
The Custom Shop P90s deliver a robust midrange, bright but never harsh highs, and firm lows. The Fat '50s Dual P90 wiring enhances dynamics and presence, with a "lively" feel that responds to the right hand. The mahogany + maple burl top pairing balances warmth and brightness, while the rosewood fingerboard subtly softens attacks. The Tele "sawn" bridge and compensated brass saddles add twang and intonation accuracy, and the thin finish lets the wood breathe for natural sustain. The three pickup positions cover a wide spectrum: biting and precise bridge, scooped and full middle, and round, velvety neck.Recommended Compatible Accessories
Use 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings (original setup) to maintain tension and tonal balance, a quality strap to secure the instrument on stage, and a reliable 6.35 mm instrument cable to preserve clarity and output level of the P90s. A Deluxe hardshell case is included for transport and protection.Technical specifications
