A Controller Designed to Get the Best Out of the Mustang LTX
The Fender LTX-5 was designed as the natural extension of the Mustang LTX 50 and LTX 100 modeling amplifiers. The idea is simple: to have the comfort of a real pedalboard at your feet while enjoying the possibilities of a modern amp (presets, effects chains, tempo). The result: you stay focused on playing, controlling the amp smoothly, clearly, and in a "stage-friendly" way.
Who Is It For and In What Contexts to Use It?
The LTX-5 is aimed at all guitarists using a Fender Mustang LTX, from beginners who want clean and easy sound changes to experienced musicians building more complex patches. In live settings, it allows seamless transitions between verse/chorus/solo with clear changes and activates only the necessary blocks (modulation, delay, reverb) without getting lost in menus. In studio or at home, the built-in tuner and foot control make takes faster and the experience more comfortable.
Regarding styles, anything is possible: rock, pop, blues, metal, worship, ambient... The LTX-5 does not limit your palette; it simply gives you the tools to use your presets and effects at the right moment.

Questions frequently asked
Which Mustang amplifiers is the Fender LTX-5 compatible with?
This model is designed for Fender Mustang LTX 50 and Mustang LTX 100 modeling amplifiers. Connection is made via RJ-45 using the supplied 3.5 m RJ-45 to RJ-45 cable.
Can effects be activated separately by foot?
In Effects mode, dedicated switches control the Stomp, Modulation, Delay, and Reverb blocks. Each block can thus be activated or bypassed during playing.
How does preset changing work on the LTX-5?
Preset mode allows navigation through banks and access to presets in groups of four: A, B, C, and D. Bicolor LEDs indicate the active preset, while Tap Tempo remains available in this mode.
Does the LTX-5 have a built-in tuner?
A chromatic tuner is accessible via the Mode switch. The signal is then muted, and the six-character LED display, combined with bicolor LEDs, indicates whether the note is flat or sharp.
Is an external power supply needed for the Fender LTX-5 footswitch?
No external power supply is required: the specified external voltage and current are 0 V and 0 mA.
