The Thinline Stratocaster at the Heart of the American Professional II Series
Designed and made in the USA, this Thinline version adds a subtle acoustic dimension to the Strat's DNA. It follows the American Professional II lineage: meticulous craftsmanship, modernized electronics, and premium finishes, here enhanced by the "Transparent Shell Pink" color and a tortoiseshell pickguard.
For Which Guitarist and Styles?
Ideal for intermediate to advanced players seeking a versatile, expressive, and comfortable Strat. It excels in pop, funk, indie, blues, and light to moderate rock, with a dynamic response perfect for studio and stage, from sparkling cleans to edgy crunches.
Sound
The V-Mod II Single-Coil Strat pickups deliver the typical sparkle and articulation, with refined mids and silky highs. The semi-hollow ash body adds "air" and woody resonance, while the rosewood fretboard subtly softens the high frequencies. The "Treble Bleed" circuit preserves brightness when lowering the volume. The 5-position selector, enhanced by the push-push (adding the neck pickup), multiplies combinations, including neck/bridge blends and all three pickups together. The 2-point vibrato, cold-rolled steel block, and bent steel saddles enhance sustain, attack, and tuning stability.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
9-42 nickel strings (Fender USA 250L 009-042, identical to original setup), standard strap for classic Fender buttons, capo compatible with 9.5" radius, quality straight/right-angle jack cable, and stable guitar stand. Deluxe molded hard case included for transport.
