A direct descendant of the iconic Stratocaster, the American Ultra II represents Fender's most contemporary approach made in the USA. It combines the ergonomics and precision of high-end series with Strat DNA, designed for touring, studio, and demanding sessions.

Who Is It For and What For?

Ideal for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a responsive and quiet Strat. Thanks to its HSS configuration and Noiseless Hot Strat pickups, it covers rock, pop, funk, blues, fusion, and a heavier range in rhythm or lead thanks to the bridge humbucker, while maintaining precise and articulate cleans.

The Sound

Alder provides a natural mid/high balance, while the ebony fingerboard adds definition and attack. The Haymaker Humbucker at the bridge delivers tight crunches and consistent leads; pressing the S-1 splits it into a single coil for clear and punchy rhythms. The Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups at the neck and middle offer Strat tone without hum, with bright and scooped intermediate positions. The 2-point vibrato, its cold-rolled steel block, and locking tuners enhance sustain, tuning stability, and intonation.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve the original feel and balance, opt for 009-042 nickel strings (Fender 250L or equivalent). A quality standard strap and a flat capo for electric guitar will perfectly suit the compound radius. A microfiber cloth and a cleaner suitable for urethane finishes will help maintain the "Solar Flare" finish's brilliance. Deluxe molded case included.
