Sound

The select alder body provides a balanced foundation, with present mids, clear highs, and firm lows: a classic Fender tone that's very mix-friendly. On pickups, the two Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups deliver the expected Strat attack and clarity with a more energetic output level while minimizing background noise. The Haymaker humbucker at the bridge enhances saturation, sustain, and harmonic thickness for powerful rhythms and modern leads. The S-1 switch on the volume control allows you to split the humbucker for finer, more single-coil-like textures. Finally, the Ultra Blaster preamp adds a dB boost when needed, handy for cutting through the band during solos without changing your amp settings.

The guitar comes with a Deluxe Molded Case hard shell and Fender USA 250L strings in .009-.042 gauge: to stay as close as possible to the original setup, use the same gauge when replacing strings. For maintenance, a microfiber cloth is perfect for the glossy body finish and nickel/chrome hardware.
