An American Ultra II Stratocaster Designed to Raise the Bar

The Fender Limited Edition American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS belongs to the brand's most advanced American series. It retains the timeless visual cues of the Stratocaster, here presented in an elegant Gold Dust finishing, while combining them with modern solutions designed for the most demanding guitarists.

Its select alder solid-body benefits from more sculpted Ultra contours, as well as an asymmetrical, profiled neck heel. This design significantly improves access to the upper frets without sacrificing the familiar balance and comfort of a Stratocaster. Made in the USA, this limited edition is aimed at musicians looking for a premium electric guitar that is equally reliable on stage and inspiring in the studio.

A Professional Electric Guitar That Is Expressive Across Every Register

This American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS is particularly well suited to advanced intermediate, experienced and professional guitarists who want a highly versatile instrument. Its smooth neck and optimized upper-fret access encourage modern techniques: fast solos, precise bends, legato, extended-chord playing and sustained rhythm work.

Thanks to its HSS configuration, it covers an exceptionally broad sonic range. It will naturally find its place in rock, blues, pop, funk, fusion, melodic hard rock and contemporary music. The single-coil pickups deliver the clear, snappy attack expected from a Strat, while the bridge humbucker provides the density required for more saturated tones.

Quiet Pickups and Plenty of Power for a No-Compromise Stratocaster

The select alder body provides a balanced response, with prominent mids, clear highs and tight lows. This wood, emblematic of Fender electric guitars, promotes excellent definition in a mix while preserving expressive dynamics according to the attack of the pick or fingers.

The two Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups in the neck and middle positions retain the crystalline, percussive and articulate character of Stratocaster single-coils, with the advantage of hum-free operation. The intermediate positions on the 5-way selector deliver scooped tones, ideal for funk and pop rhythms as well as detailed arpeggios.

In the bridge position, the Haymaker humbucker delivers increased output, warmth and sustain. The S-1 switch integrated into the volume knob allows it to be split for a response closer to that of a single-coil and further expands the tonal possibilities. The Ultra Blaster preamp adds a warm, punchy boost, making it useful for bringing out a riff, strengthening a solo or driving an amplifier's input.

The American Ultra 2-point synchronized tremolo, combined with its cold-rolled steel block and polished stainless-steel saddles, contributes to precise attack and resonant quality. The short-post locking tuners make string changes easier while contributing to excellent tuning stability when using the tremolo.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

This guitar comes with a set of nickel-plated steel strings in 009-042 gauge. To preserve its original setup balance and flexibility, a set of electric guitar strings in the same gauge is the safest choice. A standard electric guitar strap is also compatible with its locking Strap Locks, provided that the appropriate fastening components already installed on the instrument are used.
