An exclusive "60s" Strat at the pinnacle of the American Ultra Luxe spirit
This Dealer Exclusive American Ultra Luxe "60s Stratocaster" bridges two worlds: the iconic DNA of 1960s Stratocasters (nickel/chrome hardware, mint green pickguard, "clay dot" inlays) and the comfort refinements expected from a high-end guitar made in the USA. The Heirloom nitrocellulose finish enhances the "already broken-in" instrument feel while showcasing the Ice Blue Metallic color with a very elegant visual presence.
For which guitarist and styles?
Ideal for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking the dynamic response of a vintage Strat with modern precision (stainless steel frets, compound radius, Luminlay inlays). Whether in the studio or on stage, it naturally covers blues, funk, pop, rock, surf, and "clean to edge of breakup" tones, while remaining very clear in a mix.
The tone
The alder body delivers the typical Fender balance: firm lows, clear mids, and precise highs, with excellent chord definition. The maple neck and fingerboard emphasize attack and "snap," perfect for funk rhythms and articulated blues lines. The trio of Pure Vintage '61 pickups provides the Strat "chime" and clarity: scooped and snappy positions 2 and 4, a rounded yet detailed neck pickup, and a sharp, expressive bridge pickup. The S-1 switch adds the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2 for fuller sounds, very useful when thickening a rhythm or adding density to a lead without leaving the Strat realm. The Deluxe 2-point tremolo completes the setup with smooth action and stable return, ideal for subtle vibratos and more pronounced effects.
