The Essentials to Know About the Fender Vintera III Early '60s Stratocaster Guitar

  • Immediate vintage feel: Early '60s "C" neck, 7.25" / 184.1 mm radius, and 21 Vintage Tall frets for authentic playability.

  • Timeless Strat tones: three "Vintage-Style Early '60s" single-coil pickups with a crisp and crystalline character.

  • 6-point vibrato: vintage synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles for smooth expressiveness and singing sustain.

  • Careful finish: alder body, nickel/chrome hardware, Sonic Blue color, Deluxe gig bag included.

A precise tribute to early sixties Strats

Part of the Vintera III series, this Stratocaster carefully replicates the specifications of early 1960s models: rosewood "round-lam" fingerboard, Early '60s C neck profile, and vintage hardware. It is aimed at guitarists seeking the aesthetics, feel, and tonal response of historic Fender instruments, combined with the reliability of modern Mexican manufacturing.

For which musician and styles?

Versatile and inspiring, it suits the ambitious beginner to the experienced player looking for a vintage feel. Perfect for surf, blues, pop, soul, 60s/70s rock, and modern indie, it retains enough attack for funk and ideal intermediate pickup positions for rhythm playing.

The sound

The alder body provides spectral balance and precise mids, while the maple neck/rosewood fingerboard combination rounds off the highs. The three Vintage-Style Early '60s single-coil pickups deliver firm lows, singing mids, and sparkling highs. Traditional wiring with Master Volume, two dedicated tone controls (neck/middle then bridge), and a 5-position selector offers all classic Strat colors, from scooped positions 2 and 4 to a more biting bridge pickup. The vintage 6-screw vibrato contributes to sustain and subtle pitch nuances.

Recommended compatible accessories

A set of .009-.042 strings (original setup) to maintain flexibility and layered brightness, a standard strap, a clip-on tuner, a stable stand, and a hard case in Strat/Tele format for stage transport. Deluxe gig bag already included.
