The Sapphire Blue Transparent satin urethane finish enhances the "fast" feel and understated aesthetics, while the slightly more compact body size and refined contours optimize comfort, even during long sessions.

The Fender Cory Wong Stratocaster is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a versatile electric guitar that excels in tight playing. It shines in funk, pop, R&B, soul, but is also very comfortable in rock and modern clean tones thanks to its clarity and dynamics. The 10-14" compound radius allows for smooth transitions from tight chords to more expressive phrases across the entire fretboard.

The Sound

The alder body provides a classic balance: present mids, precise highs, and tight lows, ideal for crisp rhythm playing. The SSS configuration emphasizes definition and snap, with an immediately recognizable Strat tone. The Seymour Duncan Cory Wong "Clean Machine" pickups are designed to retain brightness and articulation while offering a clear and controlled response, perfect for chicken picking and syncopated chords.

The electronics add a true "stage instrument" dimension: the Treble-Bleed on the volume control preserves clarity when lowering the volume, and the push/push on Tone 2 bypasses the 5-position selector to switch directly to position 4 (middle and neck pickups), a setting often sought for round, tight, and very "studio" rhythms.
