A Signature Stratocaster at the Crossroads of 70s Vintage and Guitar Hero Demands

The Fender Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster combines the aesthetics and ergonomics of the 70s Stratocasters favored by the guitarist, while adding very personal choices. The alder body retains the Fender DNA (balance, definition, expressive mids), while the scalloped progressive fingerboard and "beefier" pickups reflect a performance-oriented approach: more control over nuances, more bite, and immediate response for articulate playing. The result: a distinctive Strat, designed for precise touch and a recognizable tonal character.

Who Is It For, and Which Styles?

This electric guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a Strat with a vintage feel but marked playing features. The progressive scalloped fingerboard favors expressive techniques (wide vibrato, confident bends, trills) and highlights light playing, while requiring good control of fretting pressure. It excels in hard rock, neo-classical heavy rock, classic rock, and all genres where attack, precision, and dynamics make the difference.

Tone

The pair of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound SSL-4 single coils (neck and bridge) delivers a higher output level than a traditional Strat pickup: firm lows, present mids, sharp highs, with an attack that easily cuts through a mix. The bridge pickup in Reverse Wound/Reverse Polarity version enhances the cutting and percussive character, ideal for riffs and leads that need to stay clear with gain. The alder body balances projection and clarity, while the rosewood fingerboard slightly softens the upper spectrum. The vintage-style 6-saddle synchronized tremolo retains an authentic Strat tone and smooth response, perfect for vintage-style inflections and vibratos.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay true to the original setup spirit, you can opt for nickel-plated steel electric strings in .009-.042 gauge (like the factory-installed set). A 6.35 mm jack cable, a strap (the guitar is equipped with straplocks), and picks suited to your attack complete the setup perfectly. A luxury gig bag is included.
