Born in the late 1960s to lighten the Tele and enrich its projection, the Thinline version has earned a unique place in Fender's history. This limited edition American Professional II sits at the heart of the modern American range: a stage and studio Tele, faithful to the original DNA but optimized for today's guitarists.

The V-Mod II single-coil pickups deliver a clear and articulate Tele tone, with singing mids and focused highs. The push-push tone control activates series pickup mode for a thicker sound, close to a humbucker, ideal for leads or modern rock. The top-load bridge allows a softer feel and a bright "snap," while the string-through design maintains classic attack and sustain. Compensated brass saddles optimize intonation and subtly smooth the high end. The semi-hollow ash body adds air, resonance, and strong projection.
