The Susan Tedeschi Telecaster captures the spirit of the famous 1993 "Caribbean Mist" Telecaster that the artist adopted early on and which is notably featured on the cover of the album "Just Won't Burn." Designed to replicate the feel and response of her original instrument, it combines a very "American Standard" base with key stage-oriented choices: thin neck profile, modern 6-saddle steel bridge, and simple, effective, and expressive electronics.

This electric guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists who want a responsive, precise Telecaster sensitive to attack. It excels in blues, blues-rock, soul, roots, and pop, with an ideal dynamic range for fingerstyle, pick playing, or hybrid picking. Its modern ergonomics and 22 frets also make it an excellent daily work partner, both in the studio and on stage.

The Sound

The alder body provides a natural balance: present mids, firm lows, and clear highs, perfect for capturing the Tele's snap without harshness. The two Custom Susan Tedeschi single-coil pickups deliver a clear attack, excellent chord definition, and a bite that responds very well to right-hand volume variations. The 3-position selector switch covers the essentials: bridge for twang and bite, neck for a rounder blues tone, and the middle position for full, slightly scooped rhythms. The Master TBX Tone broadens the tonal palette and helps finely sculpt the upper spectrum depending on the amp and effects.
