At the neck, the EMG H emphasizes high definition and controlled lows, ideal for sharp cleans, precise arpeggios, or punchy crunches. At the bridge, the EMG 85 provides dense mids, generous sustain, and musical compression that helps saturated riffs remain clear and solos "sing" in the mix. The alder body balances attack and projection, while the maple neck / rosewood fingerboard combo adds clarity and warmth.
