A 60s-Inspired Stratocaster, Revisited in Road Worn Style

The Vintera II Road Worn '60s Stratocaster is designed for guitarists who want the DNA of 60s Strats, both in feel and appearance. Its concept is simple: recreate the impression of a "road companion" instrument, with a Road Worn nitro finish and deliberately measured aging to preserve vintage charm without excess. The result: an iconic-looking Strat with a softer feel and immediate playability, made for those who love guitars that already have a story.

Who Is It For, and What Styles?

This Stratocaster is ideal if you're looking for a versatile electric guitar with a clearly vintage character. It suits intermediate to advanced players very well (and motivated beginners who want to start on a true reference), notably thanks to its 60s "C" neck and Vintage Tall frets that facilitate attack and vibratos. Style-wise, it excels in blues, classic rock, funk, surf, pop, indie, and anything requiring precise clean tones, punchy crunches, and very "Strat" 2/4 positions. Its synchronized vibrato also invites subtlety: light vibratos, shimmers, breathing chords, or more pronounced effects depending on your right hand.

The Sound

The combination of a alder body and maple neck forms a very balanced Strat foundation: a crisp attack, clear mids, and great pick dynamics. The Slab rosewood fingerboard adds a slightly rounder feel and a silkier top end, which highlights "bell-like" tones without harshness.
The three vintage 60s style single-coil pickups deliver the quintessential Fender vocabulary: neck pickup offers a full, singing tone for blues licks and arpeggios; middle pickup provides ideal definition for funk and tight rhythms; bridge pickup delivers perfect bite for riffs and snappy crunches. The 5-position selector switch opens up the essential intermediate positions (bridge+middle and middle+neck): here you find that "glassy" and slightly scooped character, much appreciated in clean, chorus, or with a compressor. As with any vintage SSS, expect typical single-coil hum depending on your electrical environment: this is part of the charm, and the reward is an ultra-responsive feel under the fingers.
The synchronized vibrato with bent steel saddles contributes to the character: an elastic feel, rich harmonics, and immediate expressiveness. Paired with vintage-style tuners, you get a guitar designed for "old-school" playing, with real right-hand nuances and a sound that instantly reacts to pick attack intensity.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay true to the original spirit and feel, you can opt for a string set with a .009-.042 gauge (such as the Fender USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel strings specified originally). A standard strap is also suitable for vintage-style strap buttons and improves comfort when playing standing.
