The Alnico model focuses on musicality, power and full-sounding chords, while also supporting fluid solo playing. The ceramic model delivers a more aggressive response and added punch, particularly well suited to assertive rhythm playing.

Two Magnetic Characters, Three Voices to Explore

The Modern Humbucker Alnico can be used in the neck or bridge position; it is generally paired with the ceramic model in the bridge position. The latter is also suitable for either position, providing flexibility when choosing the configuration.

The third voice complements the two existing Modern voices with a single-coil alternative. This gives you several approaches for varying textures between accompaniment and lead, with a set of active pickups featuring a brushed stainless steel finishing.
