The Fluence Modern Signature: Modern Versatility in Humbucker Format
Designed for guitarists who want a modern humbucker pickup without compromise, this Fishman Fluence Modern fits an approach focused on precision and flexibility. The Fluence format emphasizes a smooth response and stable output, particularly appreciated on high-gain guitars and extended-range instruments like 8-string models.
For Which Guitarist and Style?
In the neck position, this pickup is designed for contemporary music (modern metal, prog, djent, heavy rock) while remaining very comfortable with clean tones. It suits musicians who alternate between tight rhythms and expressive leads, seeking a pickup that stays clear in a dense mix, even with low tunings and palm-muted playing.
Two Voicings, Two Characters: From Power to Clarity
The voicing 1 "Modern Active" emphasizes a punchy and direct response, with a presence peak at 630 Hz for mids that cut through without becoming harsh. The voicing 2 "Crisp, clean and fluid" offers a more open and articulated profile, with peaks at 550 Hz and 8 kHz, useful for gaining definition, controlled brightness, and fluidity on clean passages or more nuanced leads. The 2k ohm output impedance and 9V power supply contribute to a stable and consistent performance from one session to another.
