Flight Flight: DUC325 Concert Ukulele (With Bag) -

DUC325: a ukulele with a strong personality within the range

The DUC325 stands out due to an uncommon choice of wood for this type of instrument: zebrawood, recognizable by its contrasting grain, paired with a spruce top. This combination targets both visual character and the pursuit of a powerful, projected sound. The arched back complements this approach by optimizing vibration diffusion, providing a sound presence that easily "comes out" of the instrument, whether you play strummed chords, arpeggios, or fingerpicking.

For which musician and styles?

With its clear response and natural volume, the DUC325 suits both beginners seeking an inspiring instrument and intermediate musicians looking for an expressive ukulele for stage, rehearsal, or home recording. Its "punchy" temperament makes it comfortable in pop, folk, reggae, song accompaniment, and percussive rhythms. The included gig bag facilitates transport and encourages taking it everywhere: lessons, jams, vacations, or outdoor sessions.

A powerful sound: spruce, zebrawood, and arched back

The spruce top is a classic sought after for its ability to combine clarity and responsiveness: the attack stands out clearly, chords maintain definition, and dynamics respond well to playing (light or strong). The zebrawood used for the back and sides adds a more distinctive color: a present midrange, a textured feel, and a sonic signature that does not blend into the crowd.

The arched back directly contributes to the promised power sensation: it promotes more immediate projection and effective diffusion, useful when playing without amplification. Finally, the Aquila strings enhance the overall output with consistent response and clear articulation, producing an instrument that sounds "ready to play" with a good balance of brightness, body, and sustain.

Recommended compatible accessories

To complement the included gig bag, you can add a clip-on tuner (compatible with any string instrument), a universal stand to safely place it at home or during rehearsals, and a microfiber cloth to preserve the zebrawood's appearance and keep the top clean after playing.
