Flight Iris Concert Ukulele - Red -

A Colorful Model in the Flight Princess Series

With the Iris Concert Ukulele - Red, Flight offers an instrument that combines accessibility, modern design and inspiration. The Princess Series showcases models with a strong visual personality, designed to make players want to pick them up every day. This ukulele embodies that spirit with a vivid red aesthetic that immediately sets it apart, while retaining the ease of use expected from an instrument in this family.

Within the Flight Music Ukuleles range, this type of model naturally appeals to musicians looking for an easy-to-live-with ukulele that is attractive at first sight and suited to regular use. The concert size is often a popular step up for players who want a little more playing space than a soprano, without losing the compact, user-friendly character that is typical of the ukulele.

Who Is This Concert Ukulele For?

This model is particularly suited to beginners, intermediate players and anyone looking for an instrument that is easy to take anywhere, enjoyable to play and visually striking. The concert size is often appreciated for its highly successful balance between playability and comfort, especially for open chords, accompaniment strumming and early melodies.

It is perfectly suited to styles such as acoustic pop, singer-songwriter music, light folk, solo singing with accompaniment or more relaxed summertime atmospheres. Thanks to its size, it can also appeal to guitarists looking to add a softer, lighter color to their playing without feeling cramped on the instrument.

A Concert Size Appreciated for Its Musical Response

The main sonic advantage of a concert ukulele lies in its balance. Compared to a soprano, this size generally offers a slightly fuller presence, stronger support in chords and more room to develop fretting-hand technique. It nevertheless remains true to the identity of the ukulele, with the crisp attack, fast response and immediate charm that make it so appealing.

For everyday use, the concert size is particularly versatile. It allows you to accompany vocals naturally, work on chord changes smoothly and maintain good clarity in strumming patterns. The playing feel is often more comfortable for musicians who want to progress at their own pace, while still keeping an instrument that is lightweight and easy to carry.

The visual identity of this Red version also contributes to the overall experience. An instrument that catches the eye often makes you want to pick it up more frequently, which is a real advantage both during the learning process and for recreational playing. Here, the enjoyment comes not only from the sound, but also from the immediate connection you develop with the instrument.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

If you would like to complete this ukulele safely, you can choose concert ukulele strings, a concert ukulele gig bag and a clip-on tuner. These accessories are directly suited to the instrument’s size and are ideal for everyday use, whether for transportation, tuning or maintaining playing comfort over time.
