A "Princess Series" Designed for Look, Comfort, and Versatility

The Victoria is part of Flight's Princess Series, a line recognizable at first glance thanks to its refined finishes and musician-oriented design choices. Here, aesthetics serve more than just appeal: the slotted headstock, cutaway, and ebony armrest provide real comfort and fluidity gains, while the solid top enhances expressiveness. The result: an electro-acoustic Concert ukulele as enjoyable to play as it is to look at, designed to transition seamlessly from living room to stage without compromise.

Who Is the Victoria For? An Electro-Acoustic Concert to Play Further

Thanks to its Concert format, the Victoria is particularly suited for musicians seeking a balanced instrument: more space on the neck than a soprano, comfortable grip, and an excellent playground for enriched chords, arpeggios, and melodic lines. The cutaway is a real plus for intermediate and advanced players exploring the upper frets, but it remains fully accessible to motivated beginners looking for a rewarding and evolving instrument.

Style-wise, it is comfortable in acoustic pop, fingerstyle, songwriting, clean and dynamic "strumming" accompaniment, and more modern contexts where amplification is desired (rehearsals, small venues, simple recording via amp/PA). The presence of an active system facilitates live use, offering a generally more stable and direct signal than a purely acoustic ukulele.

Sound: Solid Spruce for Projection, Koa for Character

The solid Sitka spruce top is the sonic heart of the Victoria: it promotes a quick response, good note-to-note definition, and generous projection. In practice, this translates to a clear attack (ideal for highlighting rhythmic patterns) and an instrument that "breathes" more, with a sense of volume and resonance broader than a non-solid top.

The koa used for the back and sides adds a warm and musical color: present mids, lively personality, and a balance that remains pleasant both in chords and melody. The combination of spruce top/koa aims for a sound that is both bright and rich, with comfortable sustain to let notes sing. Finally, the ebony armrest improves playing feel (less forearm fatigue), which also helps maintain a consistent attack and a more relaxed gesture.

For amplification, the Double Active Pickup system allows the instrument to be plugged in and maintain usable sound reproduction in group or stage settings. The advantage of an active system is to offer an appropriate output level and dynamics that are easier to manage when alternating between soft playing and stronger attacks.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To get the most out of the Victoria daily, a clip-on tuner is a safe and universal choice (practical in rehearsals and on stage). A ukulele stand protects the instrument between sessions, and a microfiber cloth helps preserve the wood and finish appearance. The included gig bag means you are already equipped for transport.
