Compatibility is announced with PC and Mac computers. The USB Type-C connection, using the USB 2.0 protocol, also powers the interface.
Can one record vocals and guitar with this interface?
The 2 analog inputs include a mic preamp and a high-impedance instrument input. The instrument input is designed to accommodate guitar or bass with a wide headroom before saturation. A 48 V phantom power supply allows the use of a condenser microphone.
What is the purpose of the Air mode on the Scarlett Solo?
The switchable Air mode of the mic preamp brings brightness and presence to the signal, inspired by Focusrite ISA preamps.
What outputs are available for speakers and headphones?
Two balanced TRS analog outputs are provided to connect studio monitors. A separate headphone output is also included.
