An OM Furch Designed for Balance and Musicality
In Furch's Green range, this Orchestra Model (OM) emphasizes acoustic versatility and definition. The choice of a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides offers a temperament that is both warm and immediate, with dynamics that are easy to exploit. The result: a "living" guitar that responds to the slightest change in attack and highlights nuanced playing.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This Furch OM is especially aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking precision, comfort, and sensitivity. Its format and responsiveness make it excellent for fingerpicking, folk, acoustic pop, delicate accompaniment, and any playing requiring clear note separation. It is also suitable for light to moderate strumming, delivering a clean and balanced sound.
Sound
The solid Sitka spruce top provides projection, clarity, and a quick response, while maintaining a nice dynamic reserve when increasing intensity. The solid African mahogany back and sides enhance the woody and warm character, with well-present mids and a direct attack that highlights articulation. The OM format promotes overall balance and precision: notes remain defined, chords retain clarity, and the guitar faithfully translates playing intentions. The satin finish completes the package with a natural feel and open resonance.
