Fuzeau MAILLOCHE XYLO ALTO (PAIR)

A versatile pair of mallets for melodic percussion instruments

Essential for approaching the xylophone and metallophone under optimal conditions, these felt head mallets belong to the family of sticks designed to prioritize musicality and control of attack. The felt provides a rounder and more nuanced sound, particularly appreciated when seeking a "clean" and controlled tone without harshness.

Who are they for and what are their uses?

This pair of mallets is ideal for lessons, school orchestras, home practice, or workshops, and is suitable for both beginners and regular practice. They are adapted for playing on xylophones, metallophones, and cymbals, with a touch that promotes rhythmic precision and clean articulation.

For children, use is recommended under adult supervision.

A soft touch for a controlled sound

Felt head: control and musicality

The felt head provides a softer attack, useful for working on dynamics and maintaining a pleasant timbre on both bars and cymbals. This material choice helps achieve a gentler sound while retaining the precision needed for exercises, rhythms, and simple melodies.

29 cm length: comfort and balance

At 29 cm, these mallets offer a good balance between stability and agility. The length contributes to a natural grip and smoother movement, helpful for maintaining consistent strikes during technical work or ensemble playing.
