Summary of This Method
"Little by Little, the Child Makes Their Life" offers a repertoire of 23 nursery rhymes designed to mark key moments in the daily life of toddlers, from 0 to 3 years old. The content is intended for pediatric nurses, daycare teams, specialized educators, and early childhood professionals, as well as parents who want to establish simple, reassuring, and playful auditory landmarks.
Each nursery rhyme is structured for immediate implementation: you will find the recommended age, the associated moment or ritual, the sheet music, the lyrics, as well as professional advice to ensure quality use (posture, intention, group dynamics, duration, child's attention). Guitar chords are also provided to harmonically accompany the singing, even in an animation setting.
To enrich the musical experience, the method offers precise instructions for playing and using one of the three percussion instruments included in the pack (tambourine, egg-shaped maracas, jingle bells). The goal is to develop motor skills, listening, imitation, and engagement of the toddler, while supporting rituals (arrival at daycare, dressing to go out, blowing the nose, discovering the body, nap time and waking up, diaper changes, taking temperature, potty training, sitting at the table, tidying toys, calming anger, reassuring after a nightmare, etc.).
The included CD features the nursery rhymes performed by a professional singer, as well as relaxation music as a bonus to create a calm atmosphere and accompany daily transitions. The entire collection, composed of 100 percent original creations, is designed as a reliable and durable tool, easy to transport thanks to its hard case.
